SZC Outdoor 19-Inch Rack Cabinet — IP66 Corrosion-Resistant Enclosure
Outdoor IP66-rated 19-inch rack cabinet with high corrosion resistance. Designed for telecom, data and industrial applications requiring secure protection of externally mounted equipment.
The SZC Series is engineered for harsh outdoor environments where equipment must be shielded from weather exposure, dust, moisture and corrosive atmospheres. Manufactured in Europe by Radiolex, the SZC enclosure delivers long-term durability and dependable IP66 protection.
Constructed from galvanised or Magnelis® steel (depending on model), and equipped with an externally mounted roof panel for enhanced drainage and weather performance, the SZC cabinet withstands rain, UV exposure and corrosive conditions.
Construction & Corrosion Resistance
The enclosure features a modular steel body combined with a bolted roof structure that improves weather protection and moisture control. Corrosion resistance is available in C3 or C4 classifications, making the SZC suitable for industrial sites, roadside installations, coastal regions and environments with elevated corrosive exposure.
Material options include galvanised steel and Magnelis steel, both finished with RAL7035 outdoor-grade powder coating for added durability.
19-Inch Adjustable Rack Frame
Each cabinet includes a perforated 19-inch rack frame made from 2 mm galvanised steel. The frame is depth-adjustable, enabling flexible positioning of telecom, network and control equipment.
IP66 Environmental Protection
The SZC enclosure offers complete protection against dust ingress and high-pressure water jets, supported by an IK10 impact resistance rating. Operating temperature range: –40°C to +80°C, ensuring stable operation in exposed outdoor environments.
Cable Entry & Grounding
A cable gland plate is integrated into the base of the enclosure, with dimensions varying according to the cabinet width. Threaded grounding studs are installed in both the enclosure body and the door to ensure compliant electrical earthing.
Additional Features
The enclosure includes reinforced internal door profiles for mounting accessories or additional components. The SZC product range offers 21 different size variants to suit a wide variety of outdoor installation requirements.
